Photos of the Construction of our Sanctuary

Below: The area where our current sanctuary stands was once a parking lot.
We had quickly outgrown the "old" sanctuary was built in 1949.
Dated: July 1957
Construction is underway.
The old sanctuary is to the left of each photo and was later divided in to a two story Sunday school wing.
The steeple would be moved by crane soon after this photo was taken.
To save time and money, rather than disassemble scaffolding, a group of church members would come and move the scaffolding for workers.
