The Metz Church |
|
Built in 1852, this is the old United Presbyterian Church of Stow (known as the Metz church). This church helped get our church started. It was located at the corner of McCauley Rd and Hudson Drive. |

On September 10, 1916 the first service was held in this building. The stairs came down to Wildwood Ave. (now Ashland Ave), although they were never used. Entrance was from the door at the lower level. The cluster of three windows Payne Ave (now Hudson Drive). The laundry on the line in the background is at the home of Mrs, Irena McKenzie. |
